MAYOR WILL SPONSOR CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CONTEST
The Mayor’s Fund and Mayor Steve Dean are sponsoring the holiday lighting contest this year. The contest is open to all residents living within the city limits, and judging for the contest will take place on December 17 and 18. Winners (first, second, and third place) will be announced by the mayor on Christmas Day. Cash prizes will be awarded, and will be delivered to winners the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
A panel of judges will visit each entrant’s home on one of the two judging nights. There will not be a Facebook contest this year. Those residents wishing to register either there home or someone else’s residence should submit the registration form and drop it off at the drive though window or night deposit box at Le Roy City Hall. The form is also on the city website at www.leroy org
Lights should be on until at least 10:00 pm on both December 17 and 18
