Attention, LeRoy businesses and community organizations:

We are planning to start providing “welcome bags” for new residents again, after a hiatus of a few years.
We invite all businesses (including home-based businesses) and all local organizations to participate. You may provide literature, coupons, gifts and gift certificates, and any contact information.

And here’s how it is going to work:
Bring twenty-five (25….no more, no less) of whatever you want to include in the welcome bags to city hall no later than Thursday, September 1st. City hall is open 7 am until 4 pm. We will then notify you when you need to replenish your stock.

I will fill the bags and deliver them to new residents. City will provide the bags. New residents will be identified when water service has started. Deliveries will be made weekly, as required, and will begin the first week in September.
