City Dumpster Use
The dumpster at the Public Works building, 410 N Hemlock, is for Le Roy RESIDENTS ONLY.
The dumpster is intended as a convienence for large household items too large for the curbside totes -- i.e. couch, chairs, bookcase, table, etc.
All items must be placed INSIDE the dumpster. If items are above the marked fill line at the top edge of the dumpster please COME BACK LATER as they will fall out while the dumpster is loaded on the truck to be emptied.
** Leaving items on the ground or outside the dumpster will result in fines. **
There are separate areas clearly marked for metal and mattresses next to the large dumpster.
Please follow the signs.
The following materials are prohibited from being dumped in a City-owned dumpster:
- Refrigerators
- Microwaves
- Computer equipment
- Motor Oil
- Freezers
- Batteries
- Tires
- Paint
