Recreation
Center

The Recreation Center has been named "Replex".
The decision was made recently based on
submittals by local elementary school students.
The winning entry was submitted by Danielle
Segerstrom. The bids have been opened and the
contract awarded to P J Hoerr Construction. The
project will be under construction sometime
during the winter of 2007/2008 with a scheduled
opening date of January 2009.
City Recycling Services

The recycling service continues to be
very popular. The service collected over 120
tons of recyclable materials in the first year
of operation. For more details, see Government,

Subdivision Growth
>>>
Four
residential subdivision areas are in various
stages of construction.
Bishop Estates is in the process of
building their fourth duplex. Bishop Estates is
located near I-74 at the end of East Street.
Falcon Ridge continues to sell lots in
phase III with about 10 lots available for sale.
Design plans are in the works to begin phase IV
by the spring of 2008. This phase will provide
an additional 45 lots available for residential
construction. Falcon Ridge is located on the
south side of Le Roy off of Salt Creek Road.
Take Salt Creek Road to Falcon Ridge Drive.
Fox Run is a new 16 lot subdivision also
located off of Salt Creek Road. The utilities
are currently being built. This phase will be
ready for housing by the fall of 2008.

State Bank

Flanagan State Bank is now open at their new
facility located on Persimmon Drive across
Chestnut Street from McDonalds.
Love’s Truck Stop

Loves is very near completion and will
be open sometime in mid-December, 2007.
