Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Le Roy, McLean County, Illinois on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 7:15 p.m., at Le Roy City Hall, 207 S. East Street, to consider an application by Lisa and Kerry Fogarty, 808 E. Pine St., Le Roy, IL. The request is for a variance in the number of stories, roof height, and square footage requirements for a detached garage in the R-1 District on Lot 20, 21, & 22 in Block 22 in the Moorehouse and Barleys Addition to Le Roy & the South ½ of the Vacated Alley Lying North & Adjacent commonly referred to as 808 E. Pine St., Le Roy, Mc Lean County, Illinois.
Specifically, the request is for a variance from the required limits of not exceeding one story, 950 square feet, and a maximum roof height of 15 feet as a vertical distance from finished floor to the average height between the top wall plate and the ridge of the gable roof, to the request allowing for two stories, 956 square feet, and a maximum roof height of 19 feet and 3 inches as a vertical distance from finished floor to the average height between the top wall plate and the ridge of the gable roof for a detached garage located at 808 E. Pine St, Leroy, IL.
