Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held by the Zoning Board of Appeals of the City of Le Roy, McLean County, Illinois on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at 7:00 p.m., at Le Roy City Hall, 207 S. East Street, to consider an application by Brandon and Jamie Lacey, 306 N. Chestnut St.  The request is for a variance of Title 10, Zoning, in the fence front/side yard setback requirements for corner lots in the R-1 District on Lots 1 & 2 in Block 7 in Original Town of Le Roy, commonly referred to as 306 N. Chestnut St. in the town of Le Roy, Mc Lean County, Illinois.


Specifically, the request is for a variance from the required front/side yard fence setback of 25 feet from the property lot line to a front/side yard fence setback of ½ foot for the fence portion along Elm St, and a setback of 1 foot for a fence portion extending out toward Chestnut St for the residential property located at 306 N. Chestnut St., Leroy, IL.
