MINUTES OF THE EMERGENCY
SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING HELD JANUARY 28, 2008
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gary Koerner at 7:30 P.M. with all council members present at roll call. Sue Marcum, City Clerk was also present.
The Pledge of Allegiance was given.
Motion was made by Dawn T. and second was given by Dave to enter executive session at 7:35 P.M. to discuss 5 ILCS 120/2 (c) (1), to consider the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, or to hear testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee to determine its validity. Specifically the discussion is for the position of City Administrator. Roll call: John Haney-yes, Shirley Chancellor-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Dawn Hanafin-yes, T. A. Whitsitt-yes, Nancy Bentley-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes. Motion carried 8 yeas, 0 nays.
The city council agreed to adjourn the executive session at 9:57 P.M. and return to regular session.
