MINUTES OF THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
HELD MARCH 3, 2005
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Robert Rice with all council members present except Gary Koerner. Staff members present were Ralph Jungles, Steve Reynolds, Sue Marcum, Jeff Clawson and City Attorney, David Stanczak.
Minutes of the February 21, 2005 Council Meeting were approved on a motion made by Jerry, second by Butch. Roll call: John Haney-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Jerry Henson-yes, T. A. Whitsitt-yes, Theresa O’Hare-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes. Motion carried 7 yeas, 0 nays.
The swearing in ceremony for Lieutenant Steven Moreland Jr. of the Le Roy Police Department was performed by Sue Marcum, City Clerk.
Motion was made by Theresa, second by Dawn approving the proposal from Patrick Engineering for the assessment monitoring work plan for landfill closure not to exceed $16,000. Roll call: John Haney-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Jerry Henson-yes, T. A. Whitsitt-yes, Theresa O’Hare-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes. Motion carried 7 yeas, 0 nays.
Listed invoices in the total amount of $20,087.03 were approved for payment on a motion made by Jerry, second by John. Roll call: John Haney-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Jerry Henson-yes, T. A. Whitsitt-yes, Theresa O’Hare-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes. Motion carried 7 yeas, 0 nays.
Motion was made by Dawn, second by Theresa to adjourn the council meeting at 7:20 P.M. Roll call: John Haney-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Jerry Henson-yes, T. A. Whitsitt-yes, Theresa O’Hare-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes. Motion carried 7 yeas, 0 nays.
