MINUTES OF THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING
HELD DECEMBER 1, 2003
The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M. by Mayor Robert Rice with all council
members present at roll call except Gary Koerner. Staff members present
were Steve Reynolds, Eric Ginder, Jeff Clawson, Sue Marcum and City Attorney,
David Stanczak.
Minutes of the November 17, 2003 meeting were approved with corrections on a
motion made by Jerry, second by Butch. The roll call vote on the demolition
of the community building was corrected to show Gary Koerner voted no.
Roll call: John Haney-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Jerry
Henson-yes, Chad Farischon-yes, Theresa O’Hare-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes.
Motion carried 7 yeas, 0 nays.
The full time employees had requested their Christmas Holidays be changed from
the 24th and 25th to the 25th and 26th to allow for a four day weekend.
The council was in agreement with this schedule change. The City Christmas
Party is scheduled for December 20th to begin at 6:00 P.M, dinner served at
7:00 P.M. and will be held at the
Le Roy Country Club.
Listed invoices in the total amount of $36,079.73 were approved for payment
on a motion made by Jerry, second by Dawn. Roll call: John Haney-yes,
Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes, Jerry Henson-yes, Chad Farischon-yes, Theresa
O’Hare-yes, Dawn Thompson-yes. Motion carried 7 yeas, 0 nays.
Specs for the demolition of the Community Building have been sent to various
companies. The bid opening is set for 2:00 P.M. on December 11, 2003,
and will be included on the agenda for the 12/15/03 meeting.
Motion was made by Dawn, second by Butch to adjourn the council meeting at 7:18
P.M. Roll call: John Haney-yes, Dave McClelland-yes, Butch Cook-yes,
