I lived in LeRoy from the time I was born until my father’s job transferred my family to Houston, Texas when I was nine. I spent the rest of my youth in Spring, Texas where I graduated from Klein High School in 1994. Working in different jobs throughout high school and college gave me the opportunity to experience many different positions, learn a multitude of skills and helped me to realize how vast of a workforce there is in life. Attending both University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX, I graduated in May of 2001 on the Dean’s List with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. Immediately upon graduation, I returned to LeRoy to run our new family business known as LeRoy True Value, Just Ask Rental, NAPA Auto Parts, and U-Haul. We opened the doors in August of 2001 and haven’t stopped growing since. Due to the experience of running a business and interacting with customers, I feel like I have what it takes to help the city council do what is right for the city, its citizens and its business owners. I feel that I am a great asset to this community. |
